disk format "linux"-type and encryption don't work

Description

Hello,
I use the Cryptobox Live-CD (0.3.1). If i format a disk as type "windows" and encryption enabled - all works fine and looks ok. But I need larger file support for files greater than 4 GB.
But disk format type "Linux" and encryption enabled don't work. It is impossible to activate the disk after the format process finished - error message:

failed to mount the device (/dev/sda2): Could not remove the luks mapping: Command failed: Device busy
Could not remove the luks mapping: Command failed: Device busy

I use a IOMAGA external 1TB Disk (2 x SATA 500 GB RAID).
Is this working on the cryptobox-server version?

Thanks.

Yes your disk works with the CryptoBox as you can the see with the fat32 filesystem. The errormessage indicates that any process was still using the opened share. This could be a connected windows computer or maybe you didn't umount the share under Linux.

In your case you could just reboot and format the disk with the Linux filesystem. Or make sure that noone is using the share and then reformat it.

There is no difference in functionality between the live-CD and the server version. While the live-Cd is easy to use, the latter is for integrating in an existing Linux fileserver.
