Add user-friendly way to recover from corrupted config databases

Description

Sometime before version 1.0 there needs to be some way for non-technical Live CD or Live USB users to recover from corrupted Config information. This could be manual or automatic. Adding a checksum to the config database(s) (and creating a fresh database if the checksum fails) would probably be the simplest/best way to do this.

The database files themselves appear fine. The previously-existing database files on the config partition were owned by root:root, and could therefore not be modified by CryptoNAS, running as cryptobox:cryptobox. The older database files owned by root:root may have been created with those permissions by the Live-CD 3.1, or it's possible I changed them myself and forgot about it. Even so, a user-friendly recovery method would be a good feature.
